Hi folks, In 2005, after a decade of owning/running an offline marketing business, working 18-hour days, seven days a week, an Ah-Ha moment arose when I realized how totally and completely exhausted I had become... imagine that! It was obvious a new directiion and business model needed to be developed. So, I turned to learning what I could about internet marketing, search engines, site-development, etc. and how I might integrate that into my overall business, diversify revenue streams, and definitely utilize automation. Fortunately, my offline success provided financial resources to invest in education, workshops, home-study courses, software, etc., and decreasing sleep-time to 3-4 hours a night afforded time to study. Alas, embarassing as it is to admit, I goofed! I ordered ThemeMatic quite a while back, noting the logic and benefit of the process, but as I wasn't a webdesigner (but being a perfectionist with control-freak tendencies) I kept plowing through more and more stuff, while refining my intended business model, and never worked at learning ThemeMatic. Worse still, when receiving an email from ThemeMatic about ThemeZoom some time back, I said to myself "oh great, yet another recurring membership expense" and never invested the time to truly check into what was going on. After watching Russell's videos related to Krakken's process, it's obvious I had missed the boat completely... therein lies the direction I've actually been looking for all along. So, I've joined on here to not only learn, but implement what's being shared, and I'm putting my blinders on elsewhere. My business model is all laid-out... have finally found a webdesigner/programmer to assist, and I'll be focusing solely on Charles's and Russell's work and heading in the right direction. Better late than never? I sure hope so. Another vertical learning curve? You betcha. But, I'm here on solid ground this time. That's the first step to any outcome. Now if I can only crash through the technology barrier.... "HEY, Wait UP!"
